Question: How does film noir echo american culture!?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
The medium reflects the culture of the day!.

Watch an old movie from the 1930's and you see how times have changed!. Most of the leading men of the day were rather puny looking and only a few were over 5'10"

There were no fat poor people!. The well off were the only stout folks on the block and if you were lazy, you starved to death!.

Those old movies also did a good job of displaying the stark times of the depression which in turn produced some of the greatest values lost on todays' slothful youth!.

In those long ago days, you had no social net to fall back on!. You either worked if you could find it or ended up in the poor houseWww@QuestionHome@Com
