I don't think so!. I haven't even learned how to do layers yet!. All I know how to use it is to remove zits!. The printed manual is still in the wrapper honestly!.

The program does so much it's like flying to San Francisco from Los Angeles in a Concorde--an overkill!.

Here is the manual in Adobe Acrobat format!.

http://help!.adobe!.com/en_US/Photoshop/10!.!.!. You should look it over!.

It's a big fat book--and you can print it at home if you'd like!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Once you learn the basics, Photoshop can be surprisingly easy to figure out how to do quick fixes and retouches to your photos!.

That said, Photoshop is a complex program that will take you a long time to learn all the different operations it can perform!. I've been using Photoshop since ver!. 2!.5, and I'm still learning new stuff!.

Fortunately, with the internet, and many different learning sites, there are many photoshop experts out here willing to share our knowledge!.

Good luck and have fun learning!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes and no!. There are many facets to photoshop, and to truly master the entire program is very difficult!. If you are just interested in learning the basics of color correction, minor layering, etc!. then yes you might have an easy time!. There are many books, tutorials and video walkthroughs on Photoshop techniques!. I find that the more of this sort of content you have for a program, the more difficult it is going to be!. Aside from the actual complexity of the program the one most challenging aspect is that it requires creativity to truly master!. If you don't have a knack for being creative and thinking analytically, you might have a hard time really progressing and producing meaningful work!. Just keep learning, and trying new things and you will get there!. And definitely download the free 30 day trial on adobe!.com before you buy the entire program!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Photoshop was very hard for me at first, just because I would get frustrated easy and quit and give up!. If you take your time and start with the basics, you will have lots of fun with it!. I went in wanting to do all this stuff and not stopping to learn the basics first!. Then add to your knowledge!.

Practice, practice, practice!. It is tons of fun and you will always be learning more things!. I have been using for years and still feel like I have so much to learn to even come close to using it at it's full potential!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

it depends on what you want to do with it!. if you want to learn to do a few very simple things, it is easy!. however, if you really want to be even a little bit "good" it takes years to learn!. i've been working with photoshop for almost 10 years and there's still ALOT I don't know!. it also depends on what version you use!. for example, elements is alot easier becasue it can't do very much compared to the cs2, cs3, etc!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

it's not that hard at all to learn photoshop or use it!. the hard part is remembering what everything does and where to find the different tools!. it has so many options that it takes a while to use them all correctly!. one good thing is there are several ways to do the same thing!. once you get a feel for it you can accomplish a lot with it!. it's well worth the cost and an excellent program!. good luck with your new hobby, keep saving you'll be glad you did!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's not too hard to learn the basic stuff, but it can take a lifetime to master all that the program has to offer!.

Try Photoshop Elements 6!.0, as they have a workflow template that sort of leads you by the hand, from what I understand!. (I use 5!.0!.)Www@QuestionHome@Com
