What kind of adhesive can you spray on a charcoal drawing?

Question: What kind of adhesive can you spray on a charcoal drawing!?

please don't say hairspray because that's not ph neutral and it will turn it yellow over time

anyone who has had experience with a good kind of adhesive; it would be nice if you told me the brand/where i can buy it!.

It is called a fixative!. you need to apply several coats!.!.!.and it really works!.!. your drawing wont smudge anymore, and it wont turn yellow over time!. depending where u live, go to an art store!.!.!. i know that Utretch, Pearle, and maybe Michaels may have!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You want a 'fixative' not an adhesive !.!.!. go to ANY art supply store or to Aaron Brothers and tell them you need a fixative spray!. There are several different brands, and they all work the same!. All are 'ph neutral' and will not yellow!. My husband is a fine artist who does his work in pencil and Prismacolor pencil !.!.!. he uses Krylon Workable Fixatif, but they have other brands and styles, too!. The 'Workable' fixative means that you can spray it on and 'erase' without causing damage to other parts of the picture !.!.!. I don't know if you do any erasing, but if you go to ANY good art supply store, you'll find at least four different kinds of spray on fixatives !.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

you can go to any hard ware store or art store and get something called a varnish not for wood it comes sometimes in a spary bottle!. and read them cuz some are perminant and some u can spray and still go in and do something else to ur drawing! i hope i could helpWww@QuestionHome@Com

You need a spray-on laquer;-} Krylon is one brand!.
