I live in London, I used to go to my local park and paint with acrylics because they dried quicker, I painted the clock tower , and all the trees and bushes , you get a lot of sun in the park and all the colours just shone out , I must say my painting came out really good I donated it to help the ageded the manager liked it and he asked me if I could do a painting of Elvis , which I did, he has it on his wall at home!. I haven't done any painting since I became ill, but now that you have reminded me about how much I love painting, I must get back to it!. take care!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I like to paint trees and mountains with threatening vultures that swoop down and prey upon the flesh of human beings that have sadly fallen by the wayside!.

The vultures peck out the eyes and remark to their fellows, this is such a lovely meal, we should dine on wayside humans more often!. Meanwhile Manchester United score another winning goal and life goes on!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes!. There's nothing quite like painting right out there in nature!. There are plenty of difficulties of course -- light changing, weather, wind, bugs -- but it's incredibly exciting!.

I recently read Cezanne's quote about painting the same spot (or what others considered the same spot) in nature over and over: "Here on the river's edge, I could be busy for months without changing my place, simply leaning a little more to right or left!."

I like that!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Absolutely!
Not necessarily in the country side!. A park, picnic area in a city, anywhere there is sky, trees or water!. It's an amazing, liberating experience to create your eye's view, on site!. Completely different than painting inside!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Absolutely!.!.!. Yes! (if I could)
But the fact is, I live in the city, and the only real 'Nature' I get to see are the mountains in the distance!. Glad I have that!.!.!. but I'd pick countryside any time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
