Question: What is the best way to execute a crisp flash photography image with strobe lighting!?

I have a 400 watt strobe and want to produce images that have a flash effect, but doesn't look over exposed!. Any ideas on camera setting which would produce such an effect!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you don't have a flash meter purchase a gray card and photograph it with the strobe, changing either camera settings or strobe distance until your histogram has the bump in the dead center!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You'll need to use a flash meter and adjust the strobe output, aperture, and shutter speed as necessary!. If you don't have a flash meter it's just a matter of trial and error!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
