Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I wish there was an easier way for us!.!.!. As long as people continue to abuse pit bulls and force them to fight, people will see all pit bulls as violent!. I make sure to speak out whenever I can for the sake of pit bulls, and my dog convinces people in her own ways!. She makes everyone fall in love with her happiness and gentle nature, completely defying the stereotype!. Anyone who really spends time with a pit bull in a good home knows they are one of the sweetest dog breeds alive!. We have to continue to speak out for the breed and against dog fighting and abuse!. Bit by bit we can change the distorted view people have of these wonderful dogs!.Www@QuestionHome@Com stop all (or at least) most of the breeders that only breed to fight them!.!.!.!.!.stop most if not all of the pit fight clubs!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.these types of dogs genetically inherit some of their parents trainings!.!.!.!.!.!.!.I think, no matter what type of dog you own, you should be a responsible owner and train them either yourself or by trainer- good manners and acceptable social behavior!.!.!.!.just my opinion!. I have a Chow Chow!.!.!.!.!.they have a bad reputation as well!. These types of dogs generally only bond with one person!.!.!.I try to be very cautious and careful when I walk my dog, because -yes- he doesn't like other people and he is very territorial of me! He has never bit anyone but he does like to show his teeth and growl!. I haven't found a way to correct this behavior - he is 5 now!.!.!.!.!.!.!.but he is always on a leash and I have had to warn all the children and parents in my neighborhood to please stay away from him because he may bite! Especially since the children in my neighborhood either want to tease him or they want to hug him because they think he looks like a big teddy bear!.!.!.!.!.I do my best to be cautious and careful and responsible as best I can with my dog!Www@QuestionHome@Com Don't know what all the fuss is about!. A while back it was German Shepherds, then Dobermans, then Rottweilers, that were supposed to be the "horrible dangerous dogs"!. The poor Pit Bulls will have to take their turn!. (I've met a few that were real sweethearts!.)Www@QuestionHome@Com stop allowing dumb *** people to keep them as pets!.
