Anyone can become a visual artist !. !. !. but to become a GOOD visual artist takes some work!. Just being able to copy images does not make one "good" at art!. It is the original idea, the new take on an old and much used theme, and the artist's interpretation by color, composition, and even size of the work, that makes it truly a work of art!. !. !. and not just a painting!

So to answer your question, YES it is hard work if you are serious about your art!. Skill is only the half of it !. !. !. and developing that skill you may have into your one unique style IS the whole point of being a fine artist!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think the answer is the same as "is it hard to become a painter!?"!. If you have the talent, drive, talent, ambition, talent, connections, talent, luck and talent; than no!. It's easy!.

No it is not hard!. Anything is possible!. You simply take it one step at a time!. Always stay positive and congratulate yourself with each small accomplishment, then move on to the next task!. As with anything, you should really like what you are doing!.
