Hi, what do you think of this art board (for oil painting)!?
http://www!.dickblick!.com/zz149/11c/Do you think it's high quality!? Good brand!?
I don't want to use a normal canvas, I prefer a board, but don't know which to buy, and I need one that's already primed and won't warp!.

Seems fine to me, just treat it well when you have finished your picture and keep it flat so it doesn't warpWww@QuestionHome@Com
The quality of the board and its durability cannot be judged on line!. The prices do seem quite high compared with my local suppliers!.The nature of the priming can only be judged in practise!. I was trained to stretch my own canvases, both on stretchers and plywood, using ordinary wood primer from a local manufacturer!.That way you have control over the surface texture and absorbency!. Although this takes a bit more effort you are not limited to stock sizes!. It would not hurt to try a few of those boards!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
