I have a couple of issues with it, the first being the reluctance to name your art!. Call it "Inspriation #3" or someting equally simplistic !. !. !. but don't show so little confidence or lack of interest in your art that you will not even name it! And if you are going to sell on eBay, please pay yourself for your materials at least! Did I see a starting bid of 99￠!? Holy cow, Batman !. !. !. that is saying you don't think much of your own art! And you better refigure your shipping costs !. !. !. to pack art to prevent damage would cost you twice that!. !. !. to ship it less carefully is not good business!.

I find it to look much like folk art, which is not a bad thing!. If you choose to do work that carries a folk-art feel, study up on some symbolism and past folk-artists for some inspiration!. By cutting the opposite corners of your painting off with solid dark colors you have made it look as if it should be in a series with more paintings!. A little more thought-out composition and a little more variation in values and intensities might have strengthened it!. The gold background is pretty intense!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
