Question: How do you make your photos that you took yourself look professional and modelish quality looking!?

You know how they look so perfect and professional looking!?

Take your pictures at your subject's eye level!.

Make sure you are close enough, and when you are, get a little closer!. One of the worst things people do is they are too far from the subject and end up with a photo that has too much stuff in it and doesn't draw your eye to the subject!.

There are many more things, but those help the most!. Beyond that, assuming you are using a digital camera, you can crop your pictures to get rid of the extra stuff!. also, try getting your prints in matte finish!. Glossy photos exaggerate mistakes and flaws, and have to be really sharp to look really good!.

The comment about a good camera not being that important is completely right!. Given good lighting condition, a good photographer will be able to take great photos with a disposable camera if that's all that's available!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

99% of the time by NOT taking them themselves!. You cannot compose and light and pose correctly trying to take the photo yourself!. You certainly will not get any decent photo sticking a goofy point and shoot camera out with one arm and shooting back at yourself!.

The other answer!.!.!. "with a very good camera" is also totally wrong!. A good camera is still just a dumb box that will not give good results in the hands of someone who does not know what they are doing!.

Want quality photos!? Go to a REAL pro who understands lighting and composition and has the skill and equipment to give you the photos you want and deserve!.
