Background lighting tips for black & white photograhy?

Question: Background lighting tips for black & white photograhy!?

I am planning on taking some B&W posed pictures at home!. Any tips on lighting, backgrounds!.!.!. anything at all!? This is new to me!. I was planning on using a black sheet to hang up for a backdrop in some of the pics- but wanted to get more ideas!. I am doing these at home to make them more intimate & special!. It should be contrast to the color of your subject!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

just that you should make the background contrast with the subject!. ie the subject is wearing a white dress > black background is perfect!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
