I love Klimt's work!. What appeals to me is the very decorative quality of his work!. I also find the intricacy has a strong design quality!.
Another favorite is Vincent van Gogh!. I researched his sketches, which are marvelous -he was amazing at drawing!. I love all his paintings, too!. His painting style seem to be drawing with paint!. Fascinating!.
Wayne Thibaud is another of my top favorites!. His use of the paint, and color are amazing!. I was most fortunate to have taken a class from him three years ago!. He is the most famous living artist, a very tall man, 84, and he insists to his classes that he is just "Waynie the sign painter!." He has so much humility!.
Gina Werfel is also high on my list!. She is a professor at UCDavis!. Her work is marvelous!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I like the frilly, really embellished bits of Klimt's work, but I think the faces look kind of contrived!.

Amano was highly influenced by Klimt, and I like a lot of his work -- especially the very charming New York Salad characters (but they are for kids, and maybe you won't like them -- and really, they should be seen animated to be appreciated)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i dont really like klimts art, i dont know it just doesnt appeal to me!.!.!.
my favorite artists are Van Gogh and Salvador Dali for sure!.
