It was a sardonic commentary on how mass marketed his contemporary culture was!. Centuries previous you would make one item at a time but by Warhol's time everything was made en mass in factories!. also it was a personal comment on how when he was a kid he was sick all the time and the only thing he could keep down for food and didn't taste awful was Campbell's soup ergo showing his love for his favorite childhood food!. For his mom, when your family is working class and you have a kid with chronic illness you feed them whatever works!. Canned soup was what their big option was then!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
