Question: Anyone got the Hitachi HDC-1061 10MP Digital Camera and is it any good and easy to use!?
I have no idea about digital cameras as I'm not one for taking picture but know I need one and I have not got a clue about them!. I understand the more pixels the better the picture but I don't understand all the storage stuff like 32mb!. How many picture would that amount to!? And what about photocards!? I have seen the above model of Hitchai camera in the sale and I wanted info from someone who had it already and what else do I need to buy to go with and also can I just transfere the pictures from it to my computer and send them via emails and safe in My Pictures - both printer and camera have Picture Bridge !? As I said, cameras are not my thing so could some kind person explain as simply as possible about them and is that model any good as I don't want to buy an expensive one as I have limited use for it!. One more question!. It makes no mention of a timer, but perhapes this a standard thing all cameras do, so does it have one!? Thanks a lot!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Ok, if you do not know anything about digital cameras, you do not need a 10mp camera!. 8 would be more than enough!. and the theory of more mp = better picture is not true, unless you want to spend LOTS of money!. The problem with digital cameras especially point and shoot ones, is that the sensor that takes the picture is small, so when you cram more pixels onto the sensor, you get more noise!. You would be better off buying an 8mp camera for the same price, and the photos will be much better quality, and can still print a 16x20 with no problem!.

I am a professional photographer, and my camera is 10mp!. Granted it is a Canon 40D D-SLR, but no hobyist needs anything past 8mp unless they want to make posters at photo quality all the time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
