I know of a couple good sites that teach you how to type the way keyboards where designed to be used a!.k!.a the real way that most people type!.

Buy a typing book at a second hand book store, it should not cost more than a few dollars!. Start at the beginning and go through as many of the exercises as you think will get you on the way!. I learned in a convent taught by nuns with a big chart up on the blackboard, all the keys on the typewriter were covered and you looked at the chart to learn not to look at your hands while typing! I always look at my hands when I type!.

free as in not buying a cd!? well you could try downloading all the right type!. or you could try this game on popcap!.com!. its called typer shark!. it really helped me with my typing
