College is not the only way to learn, despite leslie's (above) opinion!. Photography is typically learned through apprenticeship and teaching yourself!. It really depends whether or not you need that slip of paper to show an employer!. For fashion photography a degree is USELESS!.

Your photos are amateur!. Don't let your friends and family get you thinking that you're better than you are!.!.!.it's a hard place to learn from!. If you are realistic about your skills then you can focus on learning!.

Get books on photography!. Lighting, composition, color, retouching, etc!. Study photos in Vogue, and Elle!. Then go out and try to apply what you've learned!. It takes a good 5 years of practice for most people to really start to develop the skills needed to do anything with photography professionally!.

Fashion photographers generally do NOT retouch their own work!. That is generally done by retouchers at the cost of several thousands of dollars for each photo!.

You might want to look into what fashion photography actually is!. It's the smallest field of mainstream photography with only a few hundred professionals in it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

a community college is a great place to start!.!.!.for people who pursue careers in fine arts i think they are better than universities, AND they offer career help (initial job placement programs, etc!.) so the idea of going to a community college after high school is a good one!. they won't be "counseling" you to take any fluff courses just so they can up your tuition!.
join a camera club or a photography group, they are fun and educational also!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Learn as much as you can about cameras to start with!. Photography is much more involved than just snapping a picture, it's a fine art!. You'll have to learn about cameras, lighting, composition, computer software and a whole lot more so start reading as much as you can!.

You'll definitely have to go to college and earn a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts and more than likely, a Master's Degree!. Good luck and study, study, study!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I absolutely hate pictures that people take of themselves holding the camera at arm's length!. It distorts the features and people do not look natural at all!. If your camera has a timer, put a chair half way across the room for you to sit on, and put the camera on a table!. Zoom in and then relax and smile!. You will find that you look much better!.

The pic of the cat is cute, but the ones of you are not good at all!. The camera is way too close!.

Invite a girlfriend over for a photo session!. Have her be your model and pose in different positions!. That is one way you can see how to improve your photography!.

Just keep shooting!. It doesn't cost you anything, and you can study the pictues to see how you can do better!. Good luck!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

well mabey u should take pictures and send them to some one who can get u to be a photogropherWww@QuestionHome@Com

While the pic of your cat is cute, that website is a SCAM!!Just like poetry!.com!. If you don't believe me do a search for yourself, but DO NOT send these ppl any money for anything!. I bet they sent you an email claiming you are "one of the Best" or something right!?
Keep on pursuing whatever you like but make sure you are dealing with reputable ppl/websites!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com
