Question: Artistically challenged I need HELP :-(!?
My problem is simple, I love drawing (mainly on ms paint), but unfortunately I SUCK!. Please give me advice on how I can improve my skills, if there is a website that would help, do tell!. If this helps I draw stuff that mainly is in my head that I can visualize such as, oceans, trees, dinosaurs, people, buildings!. When I look at something I try to visualize it in my perspective, for example if I see a dog I would want to change his hair or maybe mix up his facial features and I have this all stored in my head but cannot put it on a blank sheet of paper or on MS Paint!.

I found when I began to draw out of My imagination rather than just looking at pictures I became a real artist!.
I could always copy pictures So very well, and even now looking back at them they are still decent!. But i began to draw out of my own mind, and it was horrible, but after many many many many hours, I have finally achieved the ability to draw better than almost any comic book you see, and I can do portraits of people and it looks almost like a photo!. It just takes time, and practice!.

I think you're going a bit too fast for yourself!. Have you tried copying a picture with the original right there with you!? Because that's one of the first steps of learning how to draw!. It's like you're forcing yourself in learning how to write, when you don't even know how to read yet!. Forget about drawing from memory, for now!. Go through a magazine or something and find an image--any image!. Then draw it as closely to the original as possible!. It doesn't HAVE to be exact, but the point is to try!. It's good practice!.
also, don't just draw on MS Paint!. It's hard to make anything look good by drawing on that!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
