Cheap is relative !.!.!. the 5D is the least expensive yet on the other hand the D700 has more features and has technology that is nearly three years newer!. The 5D is 75% the cost of the newer D700, so depending upon what your needs are in a DSLR, the extra cost may be worth it to some photographers

Cheap is a relative term!.

If you also use "cheap" lens, you might as well not buy it because good lenses should outlast your camera!.

And Canon L lenses are not in the bargain bin at all!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
