Why!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I just posted this, so you are the second lucky winner int he past 60 seconds!. The asker said that Amazon has Photoshop Elements for $61 now!. That's 10% of the price of full-on Photoshohp and it's 10X more powerful than Picnik!.

If you want to explore the world of Adobe Photoshop without spending the big money for the full product, get Photoshop Elements!. It is a tremendously powerful program and it only sells for $99!.00!. You can get it at http://www!.adobe!.com or any of the usual places you buy software!. I am still using Photoshop Elements 5!.0, but PE 6!.0 is now out and Adobe claims that it has enhanced Brightness/Contrast tools, Clone tool and Black and White Conversion tool!. The other enhancements seem to deal with merging photos (panoramic stitching) and organizing your photos!.

You can use it practically right out of the box with the "Quick Fix" option and then you can advance into the full program, learning TONS about the Photoshop world as you go!. Frankly, I think most casual users would never explore the full capabilities of Photoshop Elements!. If you are ever ready for more, you will already know much of what you need to know about using "real" Photoshop!.

Just go here http://www!.adobe!.com/products/photoshope!.!.!. and click "Free Trial" for a 30-day free trial!.

Almost every single image on my Flickr site was processed with Photoshop Elements 5!.0!. Some have from zero to barely any post-processing at all and others have considerable amount of perspective alterations, saturation changes, etc!., and these are specified under the picture most of the time!.

Here's a friend's "before" picture:

There is not a lot he could have done at the scene to make it better!. I mean, when the sun sets - there are shadows!.
Here's my "after" version created with "only" Photoshop Elements 5!.0: http://www!.flickr!.com/photos/samfeinstei!.!.!.
This is not a "great" job, but it shows that Photoshop Elements is not just a toy!.

Adobe is now giving away a basic version of Photoshop called Photoshop Express!. It is web-based, so you can use it from any computer!. It will develop into an on-line image storage system similar to Flickr, Shutterfly or Photobucket!. https://www!.photoshop!.com/express/landin!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Photoshop hands down! because there are sooooo many things you can do in standard copy of photoshop that you can't get done in picnik!. also if you were to buy plugins you can do even more amazing effects and backgrounds, create textures, luminositys, alien skins, fur, fire, scales, 3-d, animations, etc, etcWww@QuestionHome@Com

Between those two, Photoshop, without question!. But Photoshop may be overkill!. You should tryp Photoshop Elements (which is a stripped down and much cheaper version) or the free online version at: http://www!.photoshop!.com/expressWww@QuestionHome@Com

I don't know what picnik is, but photographers use photoshop, and that explains why celebs look so good!.
