Question: Can anyone help me with photography!?

I am going to be shooting a female in kind of a suicide girls sort of manner and its going to be my first time doing portraits!. i do not have any equipment except my digital camera!. no lighting material or a studio!. NOTHING! so i was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for me with what little i have!. thanks!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hi Kara!. You have no special photography equipment but your subject matter and assignment is kind of edgy!. Many times that realistic type of subject matter does not really need the best equipment!.!.!. but more of a natural photographic style!. Use your own digital equipment and natural lighting!.!.!. light coming in from an open window!. Take in enough of the background to make the picture realistic but not so much that it gets in the way of your models!. Try to get in alot of shadows!.!.!. which can signify death and doom!.!.!. Photograph in color but when you have the pics in the computer, manipulate the images in black and white to see if that adds dramma and mood!. You have all the equipment you really need for this assigment!.!.!. but because you have a digital!.!.!. you can shoot off dozens of pics from all angles to see which of the shots are the most effective!. You can buy some construction lamps at Home Depot for under $30!. They are 500 watt and will give you a lot of good lighting!. Use them and you can get what you want!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
