Oh - you have so much to see and explore in the 1st one - the black and white!. You have a lot going on in this picture - the eye takes its time - in reviewing all the details!. The 2nd - the red one - so much is lost for the sake of color!. ?Www@QuestionHome@Com

The first one is nice, but there is really no connection between the flower and the webs!. It's like you took a flower and put it in front of the webbing, it would be a lot more interesting if it was tangled and twisted through the cobwebs!. It also feels much too "still life!." It has no energy!.
The second one, doesn't show much of the detail!. The rose looks really cool, but the spider web is lost!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The first one, on white paper, shows the wonderful detail of the drawing, which I find very impressive!. The red and black is quite dramatic, though, and that is in keeping with the content!. Still, I like the first because of the clarity and detail!. Very beautiful!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I prefer the first one because of the attention to detail and the clarity of it all!. In the second one, it is harder to tell what everything is!. By the way, you are a really good artist! I, on the other hand, can't draw to save my life!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
