I read your question and I don't quite understood it--then I read the answers and I think I know what you are trying to ask!. Basically you want to know if anyone would use a photographer if he (or she) is only thirteen!.

My answer would normally be, most likely not, because a thirteen year old is quite young, and most adults may not take him seriously!. Being a "photographer" is much more than being able to use a camera, even properly!. He has to deal with the public (and if we are talking about a party, it can be a kiddie party, a wedding, or as far as a formal party)!. Anyway, it would be a bit unusual to see a thirteen year-old taking photos at such a party, unless he's a family member!.

Having said that, I would like to point out that the reason behind my answer!. This has to do with the level of maturity!. If you come across as a mature person who can take charge (and you really do take charge-since you just don't walk up to a table or a group of people and expect them to even acknowledge you), it would work smoothly!. But if you act immature, or come across as immature, then no one will take you seriously!.

The first answerer did not have the patience for you--and unfortunately your question did come across almost like, "careless"!. Did you read what you wrote!? What exactly did you mean by, "Can you plan party's if your 13 or be a photographer!?!?!?" What does that mean!? Did you mean to say, "Can a party be planned if I were only 13!?" or "Would I be too young to take photography at a party because I am only thirteen!?"--then, we would look at it seriously and perhaps someone take you seriously!.

All is not lost!. Next time you ask a question, read it over, and be careful how it is worded (also check your spelling, too)!. If you have an inspiration to become a photographer, there isn't anything wrong with that--next time there is a family party, bring your camera, and snap away!. Give them the files (as I assume it's a digital camera)--and in the future someone will think of you and eventually "hire" you for an event!.
