Question: What settings should I use if I am taking pictures of an airshow!?
I have a minolta x 700 with 200mm tokina at-x lenses!.

What should my aperture and shutter speed be!?
I am taking pictures of fighter jets, not bi-planes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Use a wide open aperture and meter for the fastest possible shutter speed!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, we'd have to be there to advise you correctly, as light changes!. Assuming you are asking about planes in the air, you might want to use shutter speed priority and set it at about 1/250 or (probably better) 1/500 and go from there!. You will be panning, taking shots of moving planes, so you'll need the higher speeds to minimize blur!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
