I did find the icons distracting, however I realize they weren't in your original!.

After erasing them with my mind, the only other complaint I would register here is the centering!. I would be the last person to suggest centering in an artsy photo - UNLESS there's nothing else to see in the photo except your obvious "main event" !.!.!. even if there were a plane in the photo, flying in the distance !.!.!. a bird, anything else !.!.!. then the off-center would be easier on the eyes!.
When you want something to be the center of attention - a focal point - you ought to go for just that and literally make it the CENTER of attention!.

Technically, a professional photo is one that is sold!.!.!.but unfortunately many unprofessional looking images get sold!.

For an image to LOOK professional, composition , lighting and focus are mandatory!.

The image shown does not LOOK professional!. The compostion is static!.!.!.pole growing out of the head!.!.!. and the exposure on the face is poor!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

A "professional" photograph is one that can "sell", that's what makes it professional!. Doesn't matter whether it wins any contests or not, or gets the approval of your peers, it's whether it sells that counts!. And, the better it is, the better are the chances of it selling!.
