Which type of paints should I use on canvas to create extremely bright colors?

Question: Which type of paints should I use on canvas to create extremely bright colors!?

I would like to re-create a picture like this:

(i'm not sure if thats the one i am going to use, its me and i might use a different person, but you get the idea)
i want my painting to be full of energy and expression- a wild and crazy theme
Should I use acrylic paints!? Would you recommend any certain canvas!.!.!.!. any help would be much appreciated!!

I think the effect you want would be achieved with florescent acrylics!. You can find them at a Michaels store, but probably not in the art supplies section!. They are probably in the craft section!. They need a white undercoat!. Let it dry before applying the color!. They are also transparent and may take more than one coat, but that's why they are bright!. Make your sketch light so it doesn't show through!. Have fun!Www@QuestionHome@Com
