Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Leonardo as many have pointed out already wrote from right to left!. It is unknown why he did this and some have speculated that it was probably because he was lefthanded and writing from right to left would not smudge the ink!. Other have speculated that it was probably dyslexia and others that he simply did not want people to understand his writings so others won't steal his ideas and so forth!. I tend to believe in the latter and there is evidence for this!. Not only did Leonardo wrote backwards but he conjoined words, made up symbols to stand for short words like "and" and he probably made deliberate mistakes(we think he made deliberate mistakes because he spells the same words in many different manners through out his notes)!. So aside from the backwards writing his barely understandable writing, symbols to stand for words, and connections and breaks, he also made deliberate mistakes!. So even if you put it in the mirror it would still be hard to read it would probably be something like this Soeve ifyou puin the mirr orit would still be hard toread Those are the things that leonardo made to his writings most probably on purpose in order for others not to steal his ideas!.
