Go ahead and take the class with the camera you have!. Even if your camera does not have manual control, you will learn some technical and artistic stuff that will improve your photography no matter what camera you are using!.

In your posted images, I like the sunset tree silhouette, good exposure and composition!. You missed a wonderful opportunity with the sunset and boat!. That scene had potential to be a great shot!. As presented, it lacks the composition and color wow that obviously was there at the time!. If you want to shoot landscapes, you need to use a tripod and turn off the flash!. Landscapes are often shot in low light!. also, it is crucial for a land or sea scape to have a level horizon!. That is easy to fix in whatever image working program you use!.

Your photos are static, and all appear to have been taken from the same position, standing at eye level!. Try to vary your point of view!. Think about ways you can draw attention to your subject!. Learn about the guidelines of composition, like the rule of thirds, leading lines, positive and negative space etc!. Then encompass those in your own photography!.

You have a nice beginning!. As you learn more of the craft, you will find your images will improve!. Have fun and best wishes!Www@QuestionHome@Com

One of my pet peeves is the skewed horizon!. If you are taking shots of buildings or landscape, I prefer to see buildings that go straight up and down and horizons that are level!. Some people think it's "artsy" to do otherwise, but I think that most of the time - it's just a lack of control over the camera position!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I like about 3 of the pictures you have there!. What kind of camera do you use!? I would recommend joining a website like www!.flickr!.com and then joining some critique groups!. They're really helpful and you can comment each picture and its helpful because they give critique for each specific picture!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
