Question: What is up with B&H's shipping policies!?
lately, under many of the products listed on B&H's website, a memo reads!.!.!.

"Due to shipping regulations, we cannot ship this item at this time!. It can only be bought in our store"

The only things I see labeled as such are some of the darkroom chemicals and there is probably a HAZMAT charge that would make it ridiculous to ship!. I use small butane cylinders in my business and they cost abuot $8!.00 each!. The HAZMAT charge is something like $10-12 in addition to regular shipping, so I order 3-4 at a time so it doesn't "hurt" quite so much!. I need the stuff, though, so I have no choice!.

Maybe they've had trouble with the bottles opening up in the packages, which would lead to arguments about whether it was B&H's fault or if it was due to rough handling by the shipper, so they just decided not to deal with it!.

Pure speculation on my part!.!.!.

Is there anything else they won't ship!?

I guess it's a recent change then!. Again, I bet it's the HAZMAT charges or maybe they had trouble!. I have had developer bottles open during shipping and ruin other items in the package!. Then it's a MAJOR pain getting things settled, because neither the dealer nor the shipper wants to take the blame!. I can imagine B&H saying that they have their own solution to the problem, which is not to ship liquids any longer!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
