Even better!.!.!.check this out!.!.!.you're going to love this!. Its online, FREE, and its actually fun!. Its an online app called PicNik and it does all of that and more!. You can actually paint in the parts you want to leave color while leaving the background in B&W!.

Just go to the site, register, and upload your photo!. Then click the Create tab, and apply the B&W effect!. Then using the brush tool, highlight the areas that you want to leave color! Boo-ya! Faster than a speeding GIMP!!.!.!.
