Are my photos underexposed? And are my photos any good?

Question: Are my photos underexposed!? And are my photos any good!?

I enjoy taking photos with my Pentax k100d but I find that the flash tends to overexpose the pictures so I try to compensate for this!.

Trouble is, I use a laptop computer which is not great for showing me the true exposure as everything tends to look a little dark!.

I also don't have much clue about calibrating the monitor!.

I am a beginner and am mainly using auto settings but want to take some classes!. But I think I have an eye for composition as I potter about with art too!.

I think you're off to a good start!. Photography classes will help with exposure - when to use the EV settings to compensate for the in-camera meter!.

A diffuser (you can find literally hundreds listed on eBay) will help with the built-in flash!. Ones by Gary Fong seem to be very popular and effective!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Your photographs are not overexposed!. Quite a lot of them don't seem to involve the use of flash!. They generally show good visual awareness and an ability to see significant detail!. I like them-they are the kind of architectural pattern/detail shots I enjoy looking for, and at!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Nice pics !.!. over all !.!. well some are very good (the B\W) ones !.!. some are normal !.!. and some are (paintings :) ) !.!.!. but what i saw !.!. was that you have the Good angel !.!. and thats very important !.!. thats what helps you to improve !.!. because if you know your angel so you know what are the options you need to learn !.!. :) like what your mainly in to is buildings photoghrophy !.!. so you need a special lens for that !.!. and i think its easier than other kind of photogrophy (macro,night,fireworks,stars!.!.!.!.ets ) !.!. i like also that kind of photo!. !.!. theres also the HDR technic !.!. that gives you an exordnary and unique pics !! :) trust me !.!. i like it !.!. !!

so what you need to do !.!. is know exactly what you want to concetrate in you photogrophy !.!. and then go and read some teturials about !.!.

While most images look fine there IS a loss of detail in the darker areas of several!. A bit lighter on those would improve the exposure!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
