Question: What is this!? Link Included!?

My grandmother died and I founf this in her house!. My dad says that it was his dads!. I have no clue what it is!. It also has some strange writing on the blade!. If you could tell me what this is I will be greatly appreciated!.

In my opinion, i think it's from Africa, because of the nature of the art work!. The person is black, and it looks like there are symbolic signs on it, i'm not sure what they mean though!. She probably got it from a special ritualistic store, it looks like an African artifact!. It looks interesting for sure!. I've seen such work in person before at an american flea market!.

which is an african artifact, although you could never be sure, i'd say that it's strongly possible that the art came from the continent of africa, which part, i don't know!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
