Yes!.

I paint!. Most of my paintings are just 'still life'!. For example, I am working on a fruit bowl!.!.!. still in progress! I know, I'm boring!.!.!. but that's the type of stuff I'm sketch and paint really well!

Half are my own!. Some are from other artists I've known and traded some of my work for some of their own, and some are originals that I bought when I could afford to!.

Plus, I have a half-dozen copies of paintings that I love by famous artists who's work I couldn't afford to buy!.

All in all I probably have 40 or so works hanging throughout the house at a time!. These I change around from time to time to provide a little more variety!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Most of them are my own work!. I also got really interested in one particular artist who sold on eBay!. I get a few in art shows near my home in eastern Virginia and in N!.C!. You can get lovely original art for about the same price as crappy prints in "interior decor" boutiques!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes!. Some were gifts, some came from galleries and some were purchased at auction!. A few were commissioned!. Art is a wonderful thing!. Sometimes while travelling, I purchase local art that appeals to me!. Artwork is available in every price range in a wide variety of mediums!. All art tells a story!. Enjoying art in my home makes me part of its history: one chapter in its tale!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
