The best way I learned how to draw Batman (and I still do it) is to find great pictures you find online drawn by famous comic book artists!. Some great examples are, Jim Lee, Jim Aparo, Darwyn Cooke, Bruce Timm, Shane Davis, Tim Sale, Jim Calafiore, Norm Breyfogle, Tony Daniel, Andy Kubert (just to name a few)!. Print out sketches they've done and copy them!. You can learn about shadowing, positioning, and proportions!.

I started when I was young by buying tracing paper and tracing the pictures!. After that, I switched over to regular paper with the sketch beside me and I'd copy it!.
