Prismacolor is my favorite!. I don't use anything else!.

You can get them at any crafts store (Hobby Lobby, Michaels), and at some office supply stores (saw some at Office Depot)!.

You could probably get em cheaper off Ebay or Amazon, that's where I get mine!. They're pretty expensive =|Www@QuestionHome@Com

It really is a personal taste thing!. When i was in design school i had pencils from 5 different companies!.!.!. and i used them all together!. The softer ones were good for blending, the harder ones were good for details!.!.!. you layer them and get all kinds of different effects!. A lot of them were gifts!.!.!. but i remember Prismacolor (they are super soft), Prang (vivid colors), crayola (dont knock it! - wide color varieties), and several others!.

I'm not sure where they can be bought, I found them in Boston!. but PaperChase has good quality pencils!. They are made in London!. Mine have a trianglular shape and come in an alluminum canister!. They are pretty!. but go on paper smooth, and there are many different shades of the colors!. I highly suggest taking a look at them!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's a personal thing, but Prismacolors are the most consistently
good pencil I've ever used, and I've used them for over 25 years very successfully!. Besides the colorless blender pencils makes it a snap to blend and layer!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

prismacolors!.!.!.they are amazing!. You can get them at dickblick!.com or Michael's craft store carries them!. They are a little more on the expensive side, but worth every penny!. They blend easily and are very smooth!. You'll love them!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com
