Take that 1-year course and practice practice practice!.

Photography is an art Lynzee!. If you are creative, and have a good sense of color and composition, that is the main thing!.

Here is a little secret that will pay off in the long run!. When you shoot a picture, keep in mind what you are trying to convey so that the pic will be worth 1000 word!.
At least, when you show people, they should grasp your idea at the time of the shoot!. If you keep that in mind for all photos, you will acquire what others lack!.!.!.!.!.!.>>!.Originality!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I taught photography for 32 years in California and established the state's core curriculum in career photography!. There are MANY places you can get excellent instruction!. I suggest you check out your local Junior Colleges!. There are also RCOP courses that offer good instruction on the technical aspects and they are offered at night as well as day!.

Before you even consider spending $$$ on instruction, I strongly suggest interning at a good professional photo studio in your area!. You may not be paid much (if even anything at all) but you will be getting hands-on knowledge and can build both a portfolio and get excellent critique and experience!.

Formal photography instruction is highly overrated until you are prepared to see what the craft, and business of photography, is really like!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
