No!. It's ridiculously EASY to pick up a camera, point it at a couple of things and call yourself a photographer!. Being a photographer is a cinch!.

Being a GOOD photographer, well, that's another story!.

Doing anything well takes a lot of work!. Photography is especially challenging and difficult!. Try shooting a picture of yourself every day for a year and you'll know what I'm talking about!. After a few weeks, you run out of ideas!. That's when you cease taking pictures and become a photographer!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I find it quite easy, because honestly I have been doing it for years and I love what I do; but it is a lot of work and if you equate lots of work to being difficult then yes it is difficult!. As to whether or not it would be difficult for you is another story!. First of all do you love photography so much that you are willing to sacrifice the luxuries associated with having a steady 9-5 job!? The reason I find it easy is because I've had years of art/photo school in addition to a couple of years in business school (as you know most photographers work freelance and operate their own business) in addition to this I also spent some time working as a photo assistant learning all those things they don't teach you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
