Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I do abstract still lifes, so I straddle that divide!. I tend to side with the abstract -- as long as a reasonable person can discern what it is in a short amount of time!. My feeling is that ANYBODY can paint an accurate depiction of a person or event!. Look at Hitler's art!. But it takes the artist to really press himself to convey emotions and take chances in the art!. Van Gogh I think straddled the real and surreal best!.Www@QuestionHome@Com abstact art is much better for my imagination!.
