If you merely want a technical understanding of photography, that is how to use a camera, how to use photoshop or work in a darkroom then I guess you can consider it, but it sounds like a bad idea!. If you really want to become a better photographer it is important being in a class and getting live critique of your images from your peers!. Your peers will provide so much insight as to what you are doing right, and what you are doing wrong not just in terms of technique but in terms of aesthetics!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Unless you live on one of the Aleutian Islands, don't do it!. I can tell you from experience that online "studio" classes suck!. The internet is great, but a virtual studio class is about as satisfying as virtual sex!. Probably less!.

also, the "best" camera will probably set you back 30 or 40 thousand dollars!. When you ask what would be the best for you, you should give some parameters on how much you can spend!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
