Question: How long does acrylic paint last in the tube before it is no longer good!?
I have the larger size utrecht brand tubes and was wondering how long before the tubes either dry out or are no longer good!? I hardly ever open them, since I squeeze enough to store in another container, thanks!?!Www@QuestionHome@Com

As long as you keep the caps screwed on tightly and no air can get into the tubes they will last a lifetime!. I've got tubes of acrylic paint I never use (because I don't like the colors or the quality of the brand) that are twenty years old and the paint still hasn't dried up!.

But I no longer use paints from tubes!. Everything I buy and keep is kept in glass, airtight, jars!. I started doing this because I was mixing a lot of my own colors and the only safe, reliable way to store these new colors is in airtight jars!. Now, when I buy new paint I simply buy acrylic paint that comes in jars!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Depends on how you store them!.!.!.tightly sealed in a cool dry place!.!.they will last years!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
