Lavender would be quite alright!. the variety you are thinking of is called Italian lavender as opposed to the french and English!. Lilac if you wish!. Amethyst or grape, too!. Now, grapes are nothing like this colour, but the colour grape is!.
Why don't you take your swatch into a paint shop and ask if you can match it to something similar in the catalogues!. They do use names that are strictly in accord with a standard colour catalogue!. I'm sure you'll find them most helpful!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
