Photography is an art not a science!. I do agree that their is science in the developing of films but that is not the question!.

It is a scientific achievement!. YES !.!.!.!.!. but as far as practicing photography, it is an art!. You need creativity, and the lens is an extension of your eye!.
You have to be able to convey your message with one pic!. That is worth a 1000 words!.!.!. No science involved here whatsoever!.
When a viewer goes "Wow"!.!.!.!.!.then he probably knew what you were thinking at the time of the shoot and that means that you did convey your message!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

a serious photographer will tell you it is mostly science!.
if you process and develop your own then you say science!. either you have an eye for composition or you don't!. not much involvement there!. although there are some instances when I have given in to my artist side and burn a little more here or dodged extra there!. yeah, still!.!.science!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

every art is a science, because you need to learn about it and you need to test it in the real life like any science like biology and chemistry !.!.!.!.!. etc
