Depends on format!.

On a 35 mm camera that would be considered moderately wide!.For a APS-C camera that is close to a normal range!. 6x7mm format that is real close to being a fish-eye lens!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If it is full 35mm pics YES!.
If it is digital then the equivalent size is 42mm is not wide angle!.
If the lens you are on about is on a digital camera divide by 2 and multiply the answer by 3 to find its effect on the camera!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
