People that buy art usually want to buy from established artist!. Not saying you cannot be new and make it!.

My first big commission ($7500) came within my first few years of going pro as an artist!. However, I had a body of works and several collectors that I had collected!.

That was 30 years ago!.

My advice, hang on to it for your retirement!. I have very few pieces from my early years!.

The ones I do will be great for my retrospective show!. More importantly, they will show you where you have been!.

You might want to learn all you can about marketing, collectors, art investors, and prints!.

Your probably not ready for that, but you will get a feel for where you can go if your willing to put in the work and pay the dues!.

also start a blog and share your journey!. This is a big part of selling your art and yourself!.

If I can help, feel free to contact me!.

Best wishes!.

unfortunately it does not matter if it's a heart felt pic, it matters weather or not it's any good, unless you want to sell it to your mom, good luck thoughWww@QuestionHome@Com

you can only sell it for what someone will buy it for, whatever that might be will differ drastically from artist to artist from painting to painting!.!.!.!.good luckWww@QuestionHome@Com

my cousin started out really well his first painting someone bought for 200 dollars it depends on how good it is and what people are willing to pay reallyWww@QuestionHome@Com

dont advertise a price - see what people will offer!. because the artist is a beginner it wont be amazingly high!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You are the driver in this situation, listen to offers and just go with the highest one!. Good Luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com
