No problem!.!.!.!.yes, set your camera to "Aperture Priority" mode, use a tripod, and set the 'f' stop to 'f' 16!. You'll have all the detail you want!.

p!.s!. Make sure the wall has enough texture in it and the lighting is not from behind the camera -- this will emphasize the texture and allow you to focus the camera more easily!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Different lenses have different f numbers, choose the biggest number you can!. The advice on the tripod is good but if you don't have one you can use a cushion, bean bag, even lie on a bin bag on the floor! If you can shoot in sunlight with the light coming along the wall you stand the best chance of success, also,if the wall is not too big,a good trick is to spray water onto it to bring out the colours better!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

the higher the fstop the better!. If i were you, i would use a tripod!. the wall isn't going anywhere is it!? So i would set the tripod up, put the iso super slow, and take a long expoure!.

when the fstop is like 2!.8 or 5!.6 or pretty much under 11, stuff that's not in focus in the camera will be blurry, the concept is called called depth of field!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

yeah, lou's right, for good detail use a side light or reflected low light, slow shutter speed & small aperture!. try shooting it in the early morning or early evening!. try different angles & distances!. bounce off a diffused flash manually in the middle of a long exposure!. always use a remote & a good solid tripod for detail shoots & weight it down with your bag!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
