Scanning your artwork?

Question: Scanning your artwork!?

how do you use a scanner effectively to scan artwork!? i always get ripples even if i put weight on it and it is very difficult to photoshop off!. please help!?

If you have a good digital camera and have a stand (or improvise one) you can try to photograph it instead!.
I've tried a couple of scanners for photographic negatives and wasn't very impressed with any!. Particularly not if you want high resolution!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Your scanners lense has got spots or dirt o scratch or simple mist!. Clean it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
