Question: Why do I make faces when getting my picture takin!?

You know whats weird I looked at graduation photos of my class and I swear I was smiling then I look at the picture and I wasn't!. I make faces at the camera and I don't mean to and I usuallyd don't even know I'm doing it till I see the picture!. I guess I just hate getting my picture takin!. I don't know!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

try to relax, and not tense up or get self concious!. I know its kinda weird to think, but imagine the camera isnt there!. Maybe talk with the photographer as the picture is being setup, if he/she is good enough theyll know when to take the picture!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Lol, this is an odd phenonemon!.
Well, take a couple pictures, even if you don't like to,
but take a couple pictures of yourself, smiling,
and immediately check them afterwards!.
If you still come out w/a face, then look into the mirror
and smile (just to make sure you're actually smiling)

I have the same problem (In my pictures I usually look like one eye is open wider then the other & that I'm faking my smile)!.

I've noticed that I have to over accentuate my smile and open my eyes wider then I usually do !. I feel rediculous doing it; but the pictures end up better!.

Well, you could always practice smiling in a mirror or something, or if you have your own camera take pictures of yourself!. You can delete them later!. Just keep trying till you get the face you want!Www@QuestionHome@Com
