Question: Hi, i need ideas for what to draw on posters for a bbq for vietnam veterans!! :] help!?
okay, so my grandpa is having a gathering/dinner/bbq tomorrow evening and im going to make some posters to put by food, drinks, different areas ect and i need some ideas for what to draw on the posters!. i have until tomorrow, and im a really good artist so i can pretty much draw anything!.!. but it is just with marker, so it cant be too detailed or it wont look very good!. okay so here are the ideas for the posters (they can be changed if you have a really good idea, but these are the things my grandparents want written on them)
-watering hole (for the poster thats going by the drinks)
-melon patch (for a poster going by the watermelon)
-mess hall (for the eating area)
-vittles (just to have in the main tent area)
ideas for pictures to have on the posters!.!. or just how to have the wording on there ect!. i can go crazy with it lol like cut the posterboard, glue things on!.!. no limits!.

well I only have one idea but it might help
For the watermelon poster you could draw a bunch of different sized melons all in a patch kinda of in a sloppy row (like in a row but not perfect, stagger them a little) And each one would have a different letter and end up spelling watermelon or something like that =)

Hey, I am not so sure what that first response was about BUT!.!.!.!.!.I think she may be upset that your father is a Vietnam Vet!. I ON THE OTHER HAND am very thankful for your fathers service to his country!! I know how much fun military veterans have when they get back together with their brothers in arms!.
Here is an idea that may be cool!. Although the Vietnam war was a bloody and tough time for many of these guys "Vietnam is like a woman, beautiful but crazy!" I once heard that from a veteran!. Check out this website, they have some amazing military and veteran photos, MOST from the Vietnam era!.
