Question: How to Draw What you see!?
i really like drawing with charcoal ever since art class started!. deal is, now that school's out, i forgot how to really draw like my teacher taught me
can someone explain to me a good way to draw what i see!? Please no fancy lingo!.!.!.!.my brain is very small!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

First of all, you probably would need a reference!. A picture, or something in front of you always works!. Once you've got that, one important thing is to look at whatever you're drawing a lot!. The colors, the shape, the texture!. It'll really help you to draw realistically!.
also, when you draw, you sometimes lose sight of what your drawing really looks like since you're so engrossed in it, so what I do is I look at it in a mirror, so the image is fresh!. Try it -- you'll be surprised for sure at what you're missing!. :)
also, something you could do is to turn the reference picture upside down and draw it upside down!. That way, you look at it as if it were simply a shape and not a dog, a tree, a face, etc!. It's good practice!
