How do i make my pictures look soft in photoshop?

Question: How do i make my pictures look soft in photoshop!?

i want that soft look that you usualy get from slr cameras

you notice how the whole pictures looks very soft
im not sure but to me this doesnt look like the "soft focus" effect

That was definately made with a Holga or Diana or similar toy camera!.
They are cheap and really awesome, you should consider getting one!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

That photo does not look "soft" to me at all!. also, SLRs do NOT "usually give a soft look"!. If they did there would be millions of mad people all over the world returning their cameras!.

You can use Photoshop to soften a photo of course!. You can duplicate the photo with a layer, apply some gaussian blur, then lower the opacity of the layer to arrive at the look you want!.

I don't know if it looks exactly soft, but it does exhibit vignetting!. This could be due to the lens not covering the full frame of the film!.

My guess is what softness there is, is due to the image being made by a LOMO camera!. A nice cheap plastic lens, focus pre-set to 2 meters (about six feet) and the typical vignetting found with those toy camerasWww@QuestionHome@Com

I think you're trying to get PHOTOSHOP ACTIONS!?

Actions are actually given to you in a way where all those confusing adjustments are made for you!. All you have to do is to click Actions beside history and click play!.

I think the one you want is more of retro actions!.!.
