Art-heywood hardy?

Question: Art-heywood hardy!?

I recieved a piece of art from my grandmother's estate!. It is signed in the lower left corner "Heywood Hardy 1880"!. It is not an oil nor a water color!. It is almost more like pen and ink-black and white!. It is a girl feeding an apple to a horse with two dogs in the picture too!. I have ready about the artists history online but I have found no artwork similar to this at all!. Any ideas!? I live in coloradoWww@QuestionHome@Com

I have that exact picture!. I purchased it at an art gallery in New Hope , Pa!. around 15 years ago!. Paid $350 for it!.
Its in an oak frame with the word "Thoroughbred " carved at the bottom!. The glass is old rolled glass with twisted dough between the glass and the frame!. I live in Ft!. LauderdaleWww@QuestionHome@Com
